I've got the Cooties!

I'm taking a sick day today. I have the cooties... (in germ form.)

Hopefully I'll be germ free by tomorrow.

Enjoy classic Chappelle for now...

Nothing Grey about the Anatomy of this show!

Shonda Rhimes is brilliant! Not just Shonda, but the entire writing team. How do they keep this going? I was SO afraid to get my hopes up because I was afraid of being disappointed but- not neccessary. I held my breath SO many times thinking "They're going to write something stupid now" but they never did! I LOVED it from beginning to end.

Thank God the strike is over!

BTW: What was up with Cristina's Candor re: Meredith's relationship with Derek? Whoa! Ouch.

Political Theatrics

So many men, so much confusion! The Bailout Congressional Hearing started to get a little rough and frustrating for Lawmakers yesterday in Washington. They emerged from the meeting more confused than they were when they entered. They all worry that a tentative agreement on a Wall Street rescue plan had fallen apart, with House Republicans in opposition.

Not only did John McCain do nothing to help the bailout pocess, sources say that he actually hurt it if anything! To top it all off, He tried to hide behind that as his excuse for wanting to postpone tonight's debate...

But theatrics in the boardroom aside, The debate IS going to happen. And I'll be watching!

So frustrating, I know... I feel the same way too!

An Educated Guess. (Raise your hands...)

Okay, let me understand this... Bush is asking for a $700 Billion Bailout for Banks and the school system of America gets what?

  • a) $850 Billion
  • b) $526 Billion
  • c) $1 Trillion
  • d) $1.2 Trillion
Choose wisely, but not all at once. (Hint, Hint- It's the lowest one)

But of course!

I Decided I LOVE Solange!

If you haven't had a chance to hear her song "I Decided", or see her perform it... Where the hell have you been? Solange is killing it! She's definitely more than just 'Beyonce's little sister'.

I hope you have no trouble viewing the video. If you do- click on the link below.

Now that you've seen it, you should be buying- and Loving!

I feel the same way too!

Hip Hop is DEAD!

Hip Hop is officially DEAD. I repeat: Hip Hop is offically dead!

I always said that if "MC(Mahon)Ed" got a deal before me, it would be a rap! (Literally)

The good part is... It's a FreeCreditReport.com commercial rap and I like them. Don't you? Especially the one with the guy in the car singing, and the country/western one with the guy at the seafood restaurant.

This should be hilarious. Corny yes. But hilarious!

Hey DefJam... I'm ready to be the next Jay-Z!
(If Ed can, so can I? "Yes I Can!")

No We Can't!

Please, please, please advise everyone you know that they absolutely can NOT go to the polls wearing any Obama shirts, pins, hats, etc. It is AGAINST THE LAW and will be grounds to have the polling officials to turn you away. This is considered campaigning and no one can campaign within X amount of feet of the polls. They are counting on us being overly excited and not being aware of this long standing law that you can bet will be ENFORCED THIS YEAR!!!!!

They are banking that if you are turned away, you will not go home and change your clothes and return to the polls to vote. Please just don't wear ANY gear of any sorts to the polls! Please share this information with as many people as you can.

If you are already aware of this, please don't take it as insulting your intelligence.Have a great day and see you at the polls on November 4th.

Ice Is Melted!

Isis Tsunami is the latest cast-away from the Island that is TYRA!

She flew in like a storm... but left out like an afternoon shower.

(oooh snazzy!)

Gone so soon? Too bad. (S)He really wanted to change the world!

Deal... Or No Deal?

Is it just me, or was G-Dubs rocking the Obama "Yes We Can, America" swag really hard last night?

He read the entire speech without screwing up, and was even believable with the jabs he threw in about not helping Businesses any other time.

His strategery is no different than the bright one he came up with for going to war.

He's gonna make a mess- and leave it! (It's definitely personal!)

Jazz Hands!

Clay Aiken finally admits that he has "Spirit Fingers." Like Duh! That's what we've been trying to tell you all this time, Sweetie.

She's got real Chutspa!

What's the difference between a pitbull with lipstick and a hockey mom?

Neither are qualified to be Vice President- not yet.

If nothing else- I think she's hilarious. (She's a hockey mom.)
She's funny.

I like... dare I say it? Sarah Palin's Chutspa! There! I said it.

TINA FEY NAILS THE ROLE OF SARAH PALIN!!! LOVE IT!

The New "9021-N0"

Why am I not impressed yet?

They say the critics are raving that this is the best show of the year but... REALLY? It only gets interesting when the original cast mates are on the screen... (All of 2 minutes) They can say what they want about 35-year-olds playing High Schoolers but... atleast they knew what they were doing and were believable about it.

I'm sorry, I watched... and I feel the same way too!

Toni, Toni, Toni!

We just love ourselves some Her! She looked like a little porcelain doll last night, didn't she?

I can't wait to see her break out of her shell and get loose on that stage because she definitely has it in her to do so.

Although extremely nervous last night, you must remember that it was opening night, and the judges were very scary- even to watch.

All in All: she has exactly what it takes to become a fast fan favorite.

But please... don't sleep on Kim Kardashian either!

I will be watching. I feel the same way too!

Has Heroes Had It?

Judging from the look on Hayden's face, I'm not the only one confused about last night's premiere. Am I the only one who has no clue as to what the story line was about? I understand that the writer's are ready to take the characters to the next level but I just can't help feeling like they've completely missed a level in between.

The characters are so unfamiliar to me that they feel completely new. I'm emotionally un-attached. If they are going to turn into Villians, which I'm sure is what's going to happen in weeks to come, - I would like to see them transform before my very eyes .

On the flip side: Wasn't the superfast girl SuperCool? Is it me or does it feel like the guest stars that appear on the show have way cooler powers than say... "Hearing people's thoughts?"

I can't wait to see them do more than test out their powers in the privacy of their bedrooms.

Have they had it? NO. We just need to be a little patient I guess... while we wait for the storyline to unfold.
